I have been successfully offering driving lessons of a high level in the South Liverpool area for over 20 years. I have always believed in, and offered, driving tuition to a high standard which includes meeting the needs of my client.
I have taught many people who have had issues with nerves or anxieties whilst learning to drive, and have helped them overcome any issues during their learning.
I find it rewarding seeing my clients progress and finish their lesson feeling successful and leave with a smile on their face.
The driving lessons I offer are in a manual car which is not as complicated as some people feel. With a little clutch practice, and patience, it’s something that is very easily overcome.
Your lessons will be structured to your personal needs and even adapted if you are facing difficulty. I always want my clients to end the lesson with a feeling of achievement.
My years of experience as an instructor has taught me that it’s easier for the client to learn in an environment where they feel comfortable, at ease and also having a laugh. Lessons can and should be fun. After all, you are paying good money for a service. And that service should be informative and enjoyable.

1.5 hr Lessons = £65.00
2 hr Lessons = £80.00
Weekday Evenings After 5:00pm and Weekends All Day:

To secure your booking and eliminate time wasters, a non refundable deposit
of £25 must be paid when making your booking.

If you or your representative cancel for any reason, then unfortunately the deposit will NOT be refunded.
If the instructor cancels the first lesson, for whatever reason, your fee WILL be refunded. (this does not apply to rescheduling the lesson)

I was told, "DON'T DRIVE MANUAL" By my last instructor. Apparently it was too difficult for me. I came across Ifty on Facebook and thought maybe try someone different and if it doesn't work then go automatic.

Ifty is 100% the best instructor. His humour is unmatched and I always left smiling. I felt so prepared for my test and I feel like a confident driver before and after passing! His teaching style would work for anyone, he makes you feel comfortable from the very start. Would recommend Ifty to anyone, can’t imagine a better instructor. Can honestly say that I’ll miss my lessons!

My friend recommended ifty to me when I found I wasn't progressing with my own instructor. To be honest I was reluctant to change due to ifty being considerably more expensive per hour. However, I took my first few lessons with ifty and was amazed at the quality of teaching he provides. I have now passed my test and only wish that I had begun learning with ifty in the beginning. Where to begin? Ifty is an amazing driving instructor! I was recommended by my sister and I couldn't be more thankful. I was a complete beginner and did not have a clue at all about driving and at the end of my very first lesson, I drove home! Terms of Service:
We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time. Any changes to these terms will take effect immediately and shall be notified to you.
1. We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays, or due to immovable traffic.
2. At least 48 hours notice is requested to cancel or shorten pre-booked driving lessons, cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at the full lesson rate. In the event of you having booked your driving test, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) requires you to give ten clear working days to cancel your test. This may mean that you may lose your DVSA test fee if your instructor says you’re not ready for your test within this ten-day notice period.
3. All lessons must be paid for before the beginning of the lesson by bank transfer or cash payment.
Payments are accepted by prior agreement and must be paid at the beginning of the lesson.
4. Unused hours will expire 6 calendar months from purchase unless agreed otherwise in advance.
5. A driving test must only be booked with the agreement of the Driving Instructor. Booking a driving test is not a guarantee that the student will be test-ready by that date.
6. The Driving Instructor will only provide a tuition vehicle for the purpose of taking the driving test if they consider the student to be of a sufficient standard so as to successfully pass the test. If the Driving
Instructor does not consider the student to be test-ready then the test date may need to be changed or
cancelled. The decision of the Driving Instructor in this matter is final.
7. The Student is expected to arrive for lessons, fit and well to drive. If the driving instructor feels the
the student driver is not fit to drive due to illness, drink, drugs, etc, the lesson will be terminated and a full fee will be payable by the student.
8. The student is responsible for obeying the Highway Code at all times and is therefore wholly liable for any fines, penalty points, or prosecution as a consequence of their driving.
Driving Lessons
Your instructor is an independent, fully qualified driving instructor. Tuition is only available to persons who are aged 17 or over, or aged 16 or over and hold a valid UK provisional driving licence, and are legally entitled to drive in the UK. You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing to all matters relating to the timing, location, and duration of individual lessons. You must notify Your Instructor of any matters which affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition.
Price Changes
The cost of prepaid tuition is based on the lesson price in force at the time of booking and will be honoured for 6 months thereafter irrespective of any price increase that may occur between the date of booking and when the lessons are taken. Any unused lessons remaining after 6 months have elapsed shall have any lesson price increase applied prior to the lessons which shall become payable by you.
Refund Policy
You are entitled to cancel your prepaid tuition at any time. If you have not taken any lesson(s) at the time of cancellation you will be entitled to a full refund of any amounts paid, subject to the below. When calculating a refund, the driving school will charge the lessons used at full price and minus this amount from the total amount paid, leaving a balance owed to the student.
